“Pianist Nína Margrét Grímsdóttir has established a fine reputation as a performing and recording soloist and chamber musician. Nína Margrét Grímsdóttir´s solo and chamber music performances of Páll Isolfsson, Mendelssohn and Mozart are available on three CD´s issued by BIS (1139), nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards 2001, NAXOS (8.554725) and SKREF (008). All CDs have received great reviews in international publications such as the Gramophone Awards Issue, Piano News, American Record Guide and Fanfare. Nína Margrét holds a doctoral degree (D.M.A.) in piano performance from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.”
